Need help with the default Reporter option

Dear Community,

I have Problems with the "default reporter option"!

I created a mail handler to a project with the following settings:

Strip Quotes: true; Default Reporter: is our Operater; All other setting = false!

If we generate an Issue via Mail, Jira takes another user as the default reporter! Where is the mistake??? We have our own groups like Dev-Leader, Operator, Developer, Admin and Customer! I checked already the Permission and there is no mistake! If I send an email to the generated adress in the mail handler, he takes another user instead of the default reporter!

Hi Greg,

I am not sure here what is happening, perhpas there might some problems as we have got many issues related, can you raise a ticket at support.atlassian.com so we can take a look at?
