Need help on issues that are carry forwarded to next sprint with story points

Need help on issues that are carrt forwarded to next sprint with original estimate.

Lets assume I am starting a sprint with 2 stories. Ticket A with 6 hrs and Ticket B with 10 hrs.

By end of the sprint I have closed the  ticket A and I have logged 8 hrs of time in Ticket B but haven't closed. When I am closing the sprint, i moved the unclosed issue to next sprint.

Now in the next sprint even though user logged 8hrs in ticket B and only 2hrs of work is pending, it shows 10 hrs as original estimate, right???

How to overcome this???

What problem are you trying to solve?  Knowing this will help the community offer better suggestions.

Until we know that...

Altering the Original Estimate will prevent the team from seeing the original forecasted value, reducing their ability to learn how to improve their sprint planning, estimation, and delivery in the future.

Why do you think the original estimate will change?

The Remaining effort should show 2 hours.
