Hi All, need help in automation in Jira cloud.

we have a group called SECM approvers who approve issues at certain status. Now requirement is if reporter is in SECM approver group apart from he other users who are in group can approve the issues but not reporter even if he is in approver group. is it possible?

I haven't tested this use case yet, in the approval step, the second step of the configuration lets you exclude the users that cannot approve at that status:

In your case "Reporter" can be the excluded user.

Please can you share the use case that you're trying to achieve with this though? Perhaps understanding that might help us provide more information to your question.
