×Hi all! - So I have a company managed project created with 5 boards for my 4 teams (Front end, back end, QA...etc)
Out of those boards, 1 board is the main one where all epics and stories are created. I have labels to indicate if the task is front end or back end...etc. And based on the labels I created a filter to only show issues in the corresponding board.
But after i created the filter, others in my project team can't access the board. I tried to fix this myself and messed a whole bunch of other things. So after fixing all those unintended stuff, I'm back in square one where my team can't access it.
Can someone help me figure this out?
(I don't have all the permissions, but I have our CEO's account which should have everything, in case higher level permissions are needed).
Hi @Shanike De Silva and welcome to the Community!
Before anything else, check the filters you created. Next to the filter name (when you open it), there should be a Details link:
Click that link and then select edit permissions to make sure that filter is accessible by the people you want to allow access for.
On a side note, issues are not created in a board but in a Jira project. These are different things. While your issues only exist in one single project, they may be visible on different boards, when the different board filters retrieve the issues.
Hope this helps!
Hey thank you! It worked. I had all of the filters set as private.

Hi @Walter Buggenhout I have exactly the same problem, but this solution does not work in my case.
The casuistry is exactly the same, I have a public project for all the members of the company.
-I am an administrator and I have created a custom field in the epics called “Epic Type” with two possible values: “Strategic Plays” and “Team Collabs”.
-I keep the default board and apply a filter to show only Strategic Plays type epics.
-I create a second board and apply a filter to show only Team Collabs type epics.
All members of the company can see the Strategic Plays board, but only I can see the Team Collabs board.
-The filter is public for any member of the company.
-The Epic Link custom field is also visible to the whole company.
-The project is company-managed.
I've spent several hours trying to fix it and I'm pretty desperate, does anyone have any idea what could be going on?
