I'm stumped this morning. I have a form that was working fine for over 6 months that no longer works (users report it has been failing for a few days now), and no changes have been made on my end. A required field that is defined in the form setup doesn't appear in the preview or the user view. I've checked the settings, created a new form, the field just won't show up. The only weird thing I can see is that the field is a Label type but shows up as a dropdown in the form. Any ideas what's going on, and why it would start failing after working for months?
Here's the form builder view, it shows the "Affected Routings (CB2)" field as a required field.
When I preview the form, or when a user accesses the form, the "Affected Routings (CB2)" field is gone.
Hi Kevin,
I assume this is a Jira Software/Business project? And you said the field is a Labels type field?
Hi John,
Correct, it was created with a Jira cloud project management template, and the field type is Labels.

It's probably that the Form for those projects doesn't handle the Labels type fields correctly. Not all fields are supported.

I'd considered that, but it doesn't explain why it worked without issue for over 6 months before the field just disappeared from the form. If that's the case, then Atlassian made an update that broke previous functionality which was working for us without issue.

Yep, there's a good chance that happened, too. :-)
You should open a support ticket with Atlassian to find out.
