"Unable to log" does not give us enough information to diagnose the problem. Do they try to log work and it fails to record it on the issue? Do they get an error message when trying to log work? Are they not offered the option to log work?
If it's the last one, then it's the permissions on the project. Go to project settings and look for the permissions, which will give you a long list of things people might do with issues alongside a list of people who are allowed to perform that action. Find the "work log" section and add rules to it to allow your users to log work (typically, "log work = role: users", but check the other permissions like "edit" or "create" to see how they are getting those permissions already)
@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- they aren't even able to see the option to log time. means the log option is not available for particular two members of my team.

Ok, then it's definitely permissions. You'll need to get admin rights and edit the permission scheme for the project.
Before I forget though, permission schemes only exist for Company-managed (classic) projects. If you are in a Team-managed (Next-gen) project, then they're a bit different, and you'll need to go to Project Settings -> Access and edit the people and/or permissions directly (no scheme)

"Work on issues" in the middle of the list is the one. It says "Ability to log work done against and issue" under it.

Hi @Shreshtha
Welcome to community!
Do check on the project's permission scheme whether the members have 'Work on issue' permission.

Hi @Fazila Ashraf could you please guide me how to assign that permission, as i am new to Jira. Although, my other team mates are able to do so only 2 of them are unable to log time.

@Shreshtha , Nic has given the instructions in the below answer. The instructions in https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/manage-project-permissions/ should help you more.
Are you the administrator? You will have to be an admin to perform those operations. If not, check with your jira administrators.

@Fazila Ashraf yes, I have the admin permissions from my project manager. As I am the project coordinator.

@Shreshtha , if you are the jira administrator then you should be able to follow the instructions in the link above and make sure that users are in role/group that grants them 'Work on issues' permission.
