I am trying to contact the Service Request Support to help either promoting myself to Org Admin or disabled the 2FA of the ex-employee so that i can access to her account with no avail. I was keep lead to the AI chat.
I was given her login ID and password but unfortunately she had turn on her 2FA and the verification code sent to her company email which had been long gone.
Is there a way to either:
- add me as a new Org admin, or
- get rid of her 2FA?
Getting rid of 2FA would be a typical Org Admin task. So if you cannot contact the former Org Admin any more, then your likely best go-to would be Atlassian Support.
And then best would be to henceforth always have at least two Org Admins, but of course you have already thought of that. Sorry that your predecessor hasn't.
