One of our team member is receiving multiple email notification for once particular task. And date and time sent are the same. Is there anyway to stop this or any idea why it is happening?

For what type of events is the user receiving the notifications? Is the content of the notifications identical?
What is the user's relationship to the issue? Is the user the Reporter, Assignee, and/or a Watcher?
