Multiple Approval Transitions in a single worklow for Jira Server Management

In a JSM request type I need to request approval in two diferents moments on the same issue life cycle.

There are two steps of approvals (with different business meaning) in the same workflow (one step for authorization and another step later for user acceptance).

Is it feasible?

Yes, that is feasible. I have two approval statuses for application access requests, one is for their manager and the second one is for the system owner. There is no limit on how many approval statuses you have in the workflow.

It stores the two different approval steps in two different fields?

Yes, you would need different approval fields for it, so in the case of application access I have a manager field and system owner approver. Then in the approval step you define which field is the source for the approval.
