Moving the project to archive

Could you move project archiving to the standard plan? Instead of making project tracking easier in Jira, the current setup is making it more difficult.

Hello @Büşra Öztürk

As this is a user community it is not the best method to ask Atlassian a question. And as users we have no control of which features are available in which subscriptions.

There is already a change request for this. You can add your vote to it:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-77966

Hi @Büşra Öztürk! So I understand correctly that this is a feature request for Atlassian?

Either way, here's what I'd recommend as a workaround:

Rename the project you want to archive — add a prefix like xxx_ to the project name (e.g., xxx_ProjectName). This will push it to the bottom of your project list and keep it out of the way.

Apply a restrictive permission scheme — either lock it down completely or set it to view-only. This effectively "archives" it without using the built-in archive feature.

A lot of teams on Premium and Enterprise actually do it this way, because with the standard archive functionality you lose the ability to quickly search and find issues from archived projects (only via direct links).
