Hi

When I move an Epic to a different project, will associating story, task and subtask move along with epic?

I have epics, stories, tasks, and subtasks with label XYZ and I want all with label XYZ to move to a different project.

Can this be done by the bulk move by JQL'ing label?

or/and

Can this be done by moving individual Epics?

or/and

Any alternative solution?

Epics do not really "contain" stories, they're more of an association.  As any given Story that is associated with an Epic could be in any project, it doesn't make a lot of sense to say "if we move an Epic, drag all the stories with it".  It might not be appropriate for some or even all of the stories.

Your instinct about bulk edit is absolutely correct and definitely the way to go.  A search for "label = <something>" followed by a bulk edit will do exactly what you need.
