Hi

Unfortunately I have made a mistake and would like to know if there is any way to recover from this.

I moved an Epic from one project to another using the Move function - this worked as expected.

Unfortunately when I moved the Epic I moved it as a Task rather than selecting the Epic option and I have lost all the tasks that originally sat underneath this epic.

Is there any way to find and recover these lost tasks - Please?

Hello @Louisa Philp

What type of project was the source and destination project; Company Managed or Team Managed?

Have you checked the History of the Epic to see if the addition/removal of the child issues is shown there?

Hello Trudy, thank you for considering my issue. I have found a solution, luckily I had a screen shot of all the JIRA numbers in the Epic, I could then go into the Issues list and find these tasks by typing in the ID number and reconnect them to the Epic - Whew this issue is now resolve.
