Move from De-scoped to Open

I currently have a non-development (Type) ticket and I need to move the status of that from De-Scoped to Open.

I've been using the "Move Issue" function - however, it fails to change the status.

Can someone please assist.

Thank you.

Hi @KE , if the Issuetype and/or workflow is the same then the move function is not required you only need to have a transition from de-scoped to open. Now if you do in fact need to use the move command then during that operation then, if yo do not have "de-scoped" status in the target workflow, then you should see an option to select which status you want any de-scoped issue to go to. However if de-scoped is in the target workflow than any issues currently in that status will remain in that status. So again you need to have a transition between the two statuses. Does this make sense?

Hi @Jack Brickey  - appreciate the prompt response.

It does makes sense about the Move command - because the target workflow is de-scoped, the status remains the same.

To your first point - the Issuetype and/or workflow is the same - how do I transition it from De-scoped to Open?
