Monitor all JIRA tickets on a JIRA Board for changes

Hi,

Is it possible to monitor a JIRA board for changes and receive email notifications of those changes, including for tickets that haven't yet been created?

I'm aware of the Bulk Change | Watch Issues function but this only works for existing tickets. Ideally, I want to watch all changes on a Board including for tickets that haven't yet been created?

Thanks for any pointers.

Hi Phil,

At the risk of conveying knowledge you may already be aware of, you don’t monitor boards in Jira, rather you monitor the issues underlying. You set up notifications on updates of issues. You configure notifications under project settings > notifications. This includes Create issues.

Hi Jack,

Thanks for your feedback and the pointer. Yes, we're saying the same thing but I'm not using the correct terminology. Unfortunately, I can't see Notifications under Project Settings in the configuration I have. I'll contact our Jira Admin.
