Hi,

I'm using Jira Server that is connected to a Slack workspace.

When I try to add a Slack integration, unfortunately the channel I need to connect to is missing. There are quite a few channels, but not the one I need.

The Liip Jira bot is in the Slack channel and there are many other projects that are connected to Slack channels, so it should work. The channel is public.

I've tried to create the same channel from the Jira configuration page, but I receive an error that the channel exists already, which is normal.

So it's like Jira sees that the Slack channel exists, but doesn't list it as a channel to connect to.

What am I missing? Any idea?

Thanks for your help!

It turned out you need to be a Slack admin to be able to see the channels, and then you can add them.

So problem solved!
