Hi guys,
I have some kind of request from my organization to migrate a specific project from an old server Jira to Cloud.
I have find a lot of tutorials on internet but I want to make sure how to proceed and what I can really move from old Jira to Cloud.
I wanna migrate just one project from over 100+ and keep all the issues, workflows, worklogs, sprints, boards regard to this specific project.
We use an very old jira, version: v7.0.10.
I wanna know if we can migrate(and how-to) that project with all dependencies or it's more easier and healthy to make a new one to Cloud.
Thank you,
Best regards
Hi @Dulus Catalin ,
welcome to the Atlassian Community!
In the cases, when you need to migrate only one project, JCMA is usually used, but this application is available for Jira 7.6.0 and higher. Can you imagine doing the upgrade at least to the version 7.6.x?
Are there any apps installed on your server Jira?
With the JCMA you should be able to migrate almost everything connected to your project, see here for more info.
Hi, @Hana Kučerová
Unfortunately we can't upgrade jira to 7.6 and would be nice to could migrate just that specific project.
We also use a Tempo Timesheets (7.16.5 )alongside jira.
You think it`s another option to migrate without JCMA or it`s more safety to create a new project directly on cloud ?
Thank you,
