Migrating from Jira 3.6.3 to Jira 4.4.5 and Data Restore Failing

A NullPointerException is being raised after attempt to migrate data using the restore data facility and Jira cannot be accessed. We are migrating from 3.6.3 into a clean install of 4.4.5.

Hi, this is a big jump. Please go through all the upgrade notes, starting from https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA044/JIRA+4.4.5+Upgrade+Notes and follow it step by step. In particular, go through the upgrade notes for all the versions in between.

There have been database and other changes.
