Migrate jira core to jira software

Hi, 

currently, we are using for business projects 'jira core' and for software project 'jira software'. We have duplicated users in both systems, could we migrate to jira software all info we have in jira core without problems and use jira software for all type of projects?

Yes, is it. The Jira Core and Jira Software installed on different servers in your environment.
