Has anyone successfully migrated from Jira Server using AD for auth and users to Jira cloud and preserved the ticket owner information. We have Jira server using AD for auth and user directories. We'd like to move to Cloud using SAML SSO and preserve our existing tickets with the user info and such. I've read the migration guide at https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/migrating-from-jira-server-to-jira-cloud-779160826.html but I can't seem to find much definitive information on user migration. We've tried a migration but the ticket assignment for the users never made it through.
Any guides or howto's out there on the best way to do this?
