Hi all, I'm working with several custom issue types and, unfortunately, I created all of these issue types and their accompanying workflows at the "project" level.  I need to modify the hierarchy and to do so I believe the issue types need to exist at the "Jira" level.  Is there any way to roll up the existing issue types from the project level, or do I need to manually recreate the various issue types at the "correct" level?

Hey @Matt Muldowney

Great question - it sounds like you may have created these in "Team Managed Projects" instead of "Company Managed Projects".

Good news is, you can definitely do this, but you'll need to create entirely new (Company Managed) projects for the issues to go into.

Here are Atlassian's instructions: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/migrate-between-team-managed-and-company-managed-projects/

Hopefully that helps!

Thanks so much for the info and the quick reply!  I'll give it a try.
