I am trying to integrate a company owned shared mailbox (In Outlook) into my JIRA project for issues/tickets to be automatically created.
Here are my issues:
Attempt 1# Unable to add within Project Settings > Emailed Requests or System > Incoming Mail: This shared mailbox has a non expiring password. If I try to use a password, it only connects my personal work email.
Attempt 2# I created (or using) a Jira Cloud custom email. My plan was to just forward the shared inbox emails to this Jira Cloud email. But the emails will not forward or redirect. However, I can send emails directly to the Jira Cloud email. Customers are used to sending emails to the company's help desk email. I did not want to change that processed.
Attempt 3# Jira Cloud for Outlook is a no-go. This add-on never works for our shared mailbox. Only for personal work inbox.
