We have a team that is trying to merge tickets and even the field values in tickets (when the same field has values in both issues) in different degrees/ways.
In some cases there are times when they want to take a value from one field in a ticket and drop the value of the other. In other cases they want to merge the values of the fields, keeping both the entries.
What would be a of a non-manual way that this can be achieved? I have looked at a plugin, but cannot get it to function due to the fact that i can;t find a way to download a trial license... :/

Please let me know what might be best way to approach such an issue would be...keeping in mind they are wanting to do this for about 1200+ tickets.
