Managing Statuses in Jira when issues are linked
Hi There
I have a high level project Kanban board and a Low level dev board.
In the high level board, i have the issues appear as tasks and the information that is populated is high level like project start date etc. I have then linked a task that it is related to on the low level dev board.
What i want to happen is when the originating task ( on the dev board) is updated from to-do to in progress, i want it to trigger the update on the high-level board...if that makes sense. Both boards have a different workflow, and i would think there would be some mapping exercise that if the task is in one status in the low level board then it will move the status on the other board automatically.
Would prefer doing this without add-ons.....
