Making a chart without month names?

Hi

 

I am writing a grant proposal and need to have a gantt chart. JIRA seems optimal for that. However, we don't know exactly when we would be able to start (depends when the funding comes through), so I would like to say month 1, month 2, ... rather than January, February, .... How do I do that in Jira?

I don’t know of any manner of doing this in Jira. I assume by gantt you are using roadmaps or something else?
