I am new to JIRA and need some help with making two types of filters:
- To pull an updated backlog
- To pull the current sprint with updates
Also, I was told JIRA can generate reports. I saw a few but can't find where to do an RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are you working with Jira Server/Data Center or Jira Cloud?
What do you mean by an "updated" backlog? Updated compared to what?
Similarly what do you mean by "with updates" for a sprint?
Jira has a variety of built in reports and Dashboard gadgets that you can use. You can also do a lot with the Issue Search feature to retrieve the issues you want. However, it does not have a free form report creation tool built in. For that you would need a third party app.
