Make Fixversion available when issue reaches a certain status

We want the field Fixversion/s to only be editable when the issue reaches a certain status. Is this possible?

We could ofcourse programmatically make it invisible in the view, but it would still be editable.

What you can do it's erasing the fixversion from all the screens, and then add this field to a screen that you will use on a transition. So when you pass to the other status it would ask for the fixversion and it only can be selected in that point.
