Maintain watcher when issue type changes

When changing issue type, all watchers disappear.

Is there a way to keep the watcher?

That sounds like a bug to me, but I don't use the Server version.

Or if it is working as intended, then maybe create an automation rule that copies over the Watchers when an issue is moved.
