Hello everyone,
I'm working in a company with hundreds of people inside Outlook mailing groups.
I was wondering if it's possible to add an Outlook mailing group to a JIRA group so that all people in the Outlook group receive tickets/notifications?
A more concrete example:
- We have in Outlook group_x@company.org which contains 3 people, A@company.org, B and so on.
- I want to create a JIRA group called ApplicationX to contain these 3 people.
- Can I add group_x@company.org in the ApplicationX group so that all 3 people receive tickets? Or do I have to manually add these 3 people in the JIRA group?
Thanks,
Cristian
You need to create a user and put the email group as the email address. The user has to have browse permission to the project. Remove the user from any group that can logon so it won't take up a license. Then put the user in the notification scheme as desired.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Joe, when you say Create user are you talking about a Project User under People? Or a User In Jira Admin? I am using the cloud.
