Mail.Ru Calendar Invites to Outlook

So up until recently we had a Jython script sending calendar invites from our Mail.Ru Release Calendar over to Outlook (Office365); it would automatically add the Release to all parties calendar. For some reason, this stopped about 3 weeks ago and instead it now sends out as an .ics file rather than automatically adding to calendar.

Is anyone else doing this and seen this happen?

Apologies, I am rather new to JIRA myself and have taken over an already in-place installation.
