Hi @Babita Bisen,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

If data residency and control over how and where your data is stored are important to you, Appsvio Test Management is currently the best choice. It is the only test management app on the Atlassian Marketplace that supports Atlassian Data Residency.

In terms of features, the product is evolving rapidly, with new capabilities added every month. At the moment, it includes:

This is not a complete list, but it should give you a good idea of what the tool provides.

We recently evaluated the available test management tools on the Atlassian Marketplace, and you can find the results in our blog post:
 https://appsvio.com/blog/best-jira-test-management-tools-2026-xray-zephyr-atm/

I am the vendor behind Appsvio Test Management, and I’d be happy to arrange a private demo. We also offer free consultation and support with migration from other tools, if needed.

Here you have screenshot from our tool. I think this is the most well-integrated testing tool with Jira.

Best Regards,

Krzysztof from Appsvio

You should check out the apps in the QA and Testing category. The list is ordered by popularity, which means that unless you have some specific requirements you could should have a look at the apps in the first positions of the list.

My two cents would be to choose a tool that has tight two-way integration with Jira, so that it's easier for your team to view linked test cases, their latest run status, and historical results, from within your Jira stories.

Test Management by Testsigma is a good tool to start with. It has its own free plugin app on the Atlassian marketplace. Check it out here. The tool is fully agentic and AI-first, focused on helping QA teams achieve more with significantly less manual effort, without compromising on the Jira sync.

Some key features include:

  1. Two-way Jira integration to link tests to Jira issues, update results, and track every release without leaving Jira.
  2. AI that auto-detects a Jira sprint the moment it starts and plans tests instantly, so testers can get into action from day one. It also generates test cases for all Jira stories part of that sprint automatically.
  3. One central repository for all tests, runs and bugs - every single test in one place, so you don’t have to switch tools while testing.
  4. Instant AI-based test case generation, so it takes just minutes and not days.
  5. AI for generating rich, reproducible bug reports with full context. It also files bugs directly into Jira and syncs seamlessly.
  6. Real-time reports to track test cases, execution status, automation coverage, test run trends, defects, and review status.
  7. Custom reports to review test coverage, execution results, and track progress.
  8. Two-way integration with test automation platforms.
  9. Integration with Linear, Clickup, Figma, GitLab, GitHub and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

The pros I feel you would find useful:

  1. AI agents for 10x faster test case generation with edge cases covered, one-click bug reporting and shift-left testing.
  2. Two-way sync with Jira
  3. Start with a free trial of all features. Set up in two minutes and see value in the next hour with zero learning curve.
  4. Easy-to-use, clean UI that everyone can use without tech expertise.
  5. 24*5 email and call support to every user.
  6. Fits teams of all sizes.
  7. Affordable for all QA teams - You start with a 7-day trial, and then you can scale with the Pro plan that starts at $8/user/month. Free forever plan is also available.

One thing to note: if you are looking for on-prem deployment, I would not recommend this to you.

Reach out to me in case you have questions. Happy to help! :)

Hey @Babita Bisen ,

There is no best. There are 2 school:

  • Test Objects as Jira issues work items
  • Test Objects separated in the Test Management app - bugs connected in Jira.

I believe in the second method, so my app added its own Test Management menu in Jira -> all your requirements, test cases, executions and reports are grouped there together.

Check out BesTest - a fresh Requirement & Test Management app for Jira Cloud.

Getting started takes 1 minute, learning curve is about 5 minutes :)

Feel free to contact me with any matter!

Cheers

Hi @Babita Bisen ,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

If you are looking for a third-party plugin for your test management needs, a good choice might be “QAlity Plus - Test Management for Jira”, developed by our team at SolDevelo.

QAlity Plus allows you to create and manage test cases with remarkable ease. Test cases can be written and executed straight from the issue view, which allows for a quick and easy way to access your test cases.

Each test step can be accompanied by test data, expected result and test attachments.

Another QAlity Plus useful features are Repository and Test Execution:

Repository allows you to manage, filter and create test cases and place them in custom named folders.

Test Execution page manages the status of the executed test case including auto-generated bug description. It also allows to customize and create statuses (execution status names, colors) and view the lists of previously reported bugs during the past test case executions.
