Login to JIRA and Confluence w/ Crowd SSO not possible

Daniel

Hello,

When I activate Crowd SSO in JIRA and Confluence I'm no longer able to login to JIRA and Confluence. I created the crowd directory in each of the applications and w/o SSO login works like a charm.

For Stash everything works fine with Crowd SSO, too.

I already checked for the cookie domain, with I set manually to according the documentation. But I have no idea were to search. I also configured my web-server (used as reverse-proxy and ssl-gateway) as trusted proxy, I checked that all the relevant IP-addresses are configured in all the applications, I checked the groups who are allowed do logon to the applications.

Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Have you tried to use SSO without your proxy and SSL already to confirm if that is not affecting the SSO connection?

You may need to bypass/redirect/authenticate something else that you aren't right now.

Your logs probably have a lead on what may be causing the problem here.

If you want Atlassian to help checking the logs, you can create a support ticket with us at http://support.atlassian.com

Cheers

Does SSO work so differently for Stash? I use the same Apache rewrite rules for them as for JIRA and Confluence, and when I login in Stash I'm logged in in Crowd, too. Just as excpected.
