Login page layout follows dashboard layout...?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I used to have a straight dashboard layout and everything was fine. Recently we switched to a two column view, which is nice:
However, the issue is that the login view apparently uses the same layout and places the login box in the second column? This is not beautiful:
Is there something obvious to do about this?
