Logged an inccorect time spent

Instead of entering 1h, I entered 1d. How do I correct the logged in time? Some of the new JIRA users in my team, frequently do this and it is difficult to correct it.

Welcome to the community!

Edit the Logged in time/ work log and then you can correct it.

But for editing work log you should have Edit Own Worklogs permission for that respective project.

go to the issue view for the issue in question, click on the Worklog tab and edit the entry.
