Log time field not appearing in sub-task

I am trying to get the "log time" field to appear in the "more" section of issues. It is currently appearing on all issue types except for sub-tasks.



I have tried adding it to the screen and field configurations but still no luck.

Hi @jamie_marinos ,

based on your screenshot it seems that you are using tempo plugin. Btw, your issue could be related to workflow associated to subtaks issues.

Please, check if that workflow has any status property that prevent users to log time in specific statuses. Take a look to the following guide https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-restrict-log-work-on-a-specific-status-834225982.html and verify that for a specific status (it is the status of subtasks in which you currently can't log time) there is no property like jira.permission.work.denied.

Finally, please keep in mind that workflow changes could impact all issues/projects that share this workflow.
