Log Work feature on Jira

I want to know if there is a way to modify the fields that are presented to the user for the Log Work feature on Jira. We have come to know the plugin "JIRA Enhancer Plugin", but it only seems to add custom fields... but what we really need (again) is to modify jira defauls fields on Log Work.

In detail, what we want to achieve is to set the "Work Description" field to be mandatory and to hide "Remaining Estimate" options

You could use Tempo Worklog Attributes.

Is not possible from Jira to change the worklog screen, only add new fields, but can be done with some coding.
