How can I create a List of Jira issues including the associated "Linked Work Items"?
When an issue has several linked work items, show the part issue multiple times.
I tried Rovo, but that did not work...
Hi @Boele Staal
Welcome to the community !!
Not sure if this can be achieved out of the box. If you are open to try out an alternate mktplace solution to view linked issues (cross project as well) take a look at,
The app allows you to view your issues in a list view along with the linked issues shown as child issue. Also you can filter your child issues with multiple criterias.
Do give it a try.

Hi Rahul, thanks for your suggestion.
We'd rather get something without use of additional marketplace apps. This would require review, costs etc...
Atlassian should provide this out of the box imo.

Hi ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
In Jira search results or List View you can add the Linked Work Items column; it will display the keys of the issue links.
Same can be done in Filter Results Jira's native gadget.
But unfortunately they do not display additional details about the linked issues such as Summary, Description or Status...
If this is not enough, the solution would be to install a plugin from Atlassian Marketplace that offers a better view over the issues and linked issues.
If you decide to try a plugin, I would recommend using the Work Breakdown Structure gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app.
This gadget can display the issue from a JQL or filter (cross-project) along with their linked issues, which have also their Summary, Status and Type displayed.

Hope this helps.

Good day and thanks for your proposed solutions.
I had added the Linked Work item key and description, but when there are multiple items linked, it is not working that well. It would be much better to be able to drill down into it. ...with out of the box functionality.
Your app sounds the same as what @Rahul_RVS proposed above.
Unfortunately, our company is not that keen on using various apps from the marketplace, so that is not an option for me.
Too bad...
Nice product roadmap request for Atlassian!!

@Danut M _StonikByte_ Is it correct that the standard version os "Great Gadgets for Jira Cloud (Agile Charts Reports KPIs)" is free for use?
...no costs at all? Or is only the trial free?

Hi @Boele Staal,
It is free only if you have up-to 10 users in Jira. Otherwise, it is free only during the 1 month trial period.

ok, and this is over all active users in Jira right?
We have quite some users and I don't have budget for this, so won't be able to do this right now. Too bad. ;-)
