Hi ,
How can the List view with custom fields be fixed for all users ? Right now, every individual has to select and deselect fields and view can be different for everyone whereas our requirement is to make same list view available to all Jira users of our instance without manual intervention by them.

Hi @Sundeep Singhal , welcome to the community.
To the best of my knowledge, unlike the Advanced issue search view where an admin can define a filter using the system mode for all users, the list view does not have that option as yet. While the project starts with a default view, if you want to change that view for all users, it would have to be through a communication process to your team.

I totally acknowledge that this problem alone may not justify a Marketplace app, but just to put this out there: For an immediate solution, this would work as expected in the app that my team is working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. In a sense, JXL has a few things in common with the list view; however, JXL comes with heaps of advanced features (ranging from support for configurable hierarchies and nested issue grouping, to sum-ups, and conditional formatting) - plus, your fields will be shared with all your team members by default!
Another advantage is that JXL works in and across projects of any type (not just JWM projects). JXL integrates into the project sidebar (or top-bar, in JWM), so it is easily discoverable for all team members - and many of our customers use it successfully as an extension to Jira's built-in list and table views.
Hope this helps,
Best,
Hannes

A filter results gadget on a dashboard allows you set the columns once and for all, if that's any help.
