Linking with New Jira Cloud view

When I use the old Jira View I am able to establish a link to our Jira server version issues but when I use the new view it only allows me to link my cloud issues to other cloud issues.

How can I use the new view and still link to Jira server version issues?  When using the new view I do not see an option to select a "web" link like the old version view allows me to do.

Updated:  I think this might be a duplicate of - sorry i only found that issue after i posted this new one.
