Linking cloud Jira to local Stash

We have a Jira instance hosted by Atlassian and a local Stash server behind our firewall. When trying to set up an application link ot Jira from Stash, I get the following error: "No response was received from the URL you entered - it may not be valid. Please fix the URL below, if needed, and click Continue."

Is it possible to connect these two to each other? If yes, what firewall changes are necessary for the link to work?

Hi Balazs,

It's definitely possible, but you'll need to set up your firewall to allow JIRA to connect to your Stash instance. This knowledge base article describes what you need to do to set up the application link.
