Linked Tasks

I was updating the items from the closing sprint to the new sprint.  That is when I realized some linked items never moved from the back log to any sprint.  Does that mean that creating linked issues is not advantageous to your work flow? If I hadn't looked specifically for that tasks they could have set in back log for perpetuity.

Hi Grace, I'm not sure i have following you here. It seems that maybe your expectations are that by moving an issue from backlog to a sprint would result in any linked issues also being added to the sprint automatically. Do I have this right? To be clear, just because an issue is linked to another does not mean it will 'follow' the other. Issues remain independent of one another and must be transition individually unless you create some from of automation/scripting to treat otherwise.
