Link fromatting in the Description field does not work

Hello

Could you please help me to setup Jira,

so I could use the Wiki Style renderer and use such formatting for the attached images:

please take a look at the attached picture: instead of formatting, I would like to see the blue link to the picture from the description field.

Welcome to Atlassian Community.

Analyzing the screenshot you provided, it seems that you are using the New Issue View of JIRA. As you can see in the bug reported below, the new issue view is not able to render Wiki Markup yet:

- Wiki Markup does not work in the New Jira Issue View

Please, feel free to watch the bug above to be notified about any updates.

That been said, the new issue view is still a lab feature on JIRA, so our development team is still implementing new functionalities to it.

For now, you can switch to the old view of JIRA to enable the wiki markup for your issues.

To turn off the new issue view, click on your Profile picture at the left-down corner > Personal settings > Turn off the new issue view:

You can change the reneders  

• Go to Jira Administrator Setting
• Click on Issues
• Open Field Configurations
• Click on Configure for your field configuration
• Find Description field
• Click on Renderers
• Select Wiki Style Renderer
• Click on Update
