Link Parent only from same Project

I have the Issue Type Epic and Issue Type Task. When I create the task, I have the field "parent". I want, that only Epic's from the same projects are shown, not all the epics from all Projects. How can I do that?

Hi @Tiziana Pisenti,

You will only see the epics from parents in company-managed Jira projects you have access to. So, if you only work in a single Jira project, having your permissions on any other projects removed should result in the situation you describe.

There are scenarios where it could make sense to link child issues to epics in a different Jira project. Because of that, Jira is built that way.

If you only want to see epics and issues inside a single project, you could use the list view in your project to connect issues, as this view only shows issues from your project.
