I need to be able to share a live limited/read only view of outstanding Jira Software tickets with guests/customers so I no longer have to manually export the list of the tickets every time I speak with them...will this every be available?
Hello @Jemma Holcombe
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
What information from each issue do you need to share. Would a tabular list of the issues be sufficient? Are you sending the information to a list of email addresses that does not change frequently?
If so one solution would be to use an Automation rule that will execute a filter to select the issues and distribute the data to the unlicensed recipients via email. The rule could be triggered to run on a schedule or on demand.
If this sound like it might be a viable option but you need more information, let me know.
Hi @Trudy, thanks for your reply.
My issue is that we don't currently have our customers set up as guests to see any of their outstanding tickets (work items) as we don't want them to see the comments we add with our developers within the tickets.
I only want to share a read only list of the:
A tabular list is sufficient as I already export and provide these to our customers in MS Excel but, ideally a live list is best to remove the manual work involved in this.
I am providing the list in a SharePoint Online space.

How many issues are in the list(s) that you share, typically?
Does the list sent to a given client include issues from only one Space or from multiple Spaces?
Are you familiar with the creation of Automation Rules? I think this might work for your needs

The exact structure depends on answers to the above questions and whether you want to generate and email the list on a schedule or on demand.

Welcome to the community.
Ootb only user with a Jira license can view issues and their details.
You would need to look at 3rd party apps on the marketplace that are able to extende dashboard options in Jira.
