Limit ActivityStream to "today()" or "yesterday()"

I see the date filter in activity streams in JIRA5. is there a possibility to have relative dates, i.e. relative to current date !?

This feature apparently is not available yet in JIRA activity stream gadget. There's an existing feature request had been raised in our system, you may kindly refer to it for more info on the matter:
