Latest Closed Sprint and respective issues for reporting

Hello Team, I am looking for JQL/API that can give me the latest closed sprints and respective issues got closed in that sprint  for mulitple teams. This is required to generate velocity report for all the teams across organization. We do not have ehanced search license so can not write any function. Is there an API URL or any JQL which can be used to get the previous sprint closed and respective issues that got closed for that sprint?

Thanks,

naziya

Hi @Naziya Parveen  👋

I wanna suggest you to try a new Sprint Performance Report where we have all the metrics for latest closed sprints  and respective issues got closed in that sprint  for mulitple teams.

I would be happy if you had a look at it!

Try Time In Status for Jira + Sprint Report for free.

You can also book a live demo - we'll show you the application inside out and answer all your questions.

Have a nice day, and happy sprinting 🥳

Hello @Naziya Parveen

The short answer is there is no native JQL nor API to get a list of "latest closed sprints".

You could follow the advice in this post to create a consolidated scrum board that encompasses the issues from all the boards/teams/projects against which you want to report. The native Velocity Report for that consolidated board would give you the last 7 sprints that were completed across all that data.

Alternately you can investigate third party apps that offer more customized reporting capabilities. I don't have any recommendations for one that will specifically meet your requirements, but here is a search for "velocity report" related to Jira Cloud from the Atlassian Marketplace:
