Last Log for Jira security issue

I'm doing a review of jira plugins, some people are telling me that this plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211604/last-log-for-jira would jeopardize the security of Jira Server / Jira Datacenter and suggest that I remove it permanently. Does anyone have experience with this, can anyone confirm this?

I would question who is telling you this, and how they think it might compromise security.

(It could, but in only very specific and limited scenarios)

You have not told us what they think the threat is, so there's no way to know what to confirm or not.

They're probably wrong, but without knowing what they're telling you, there's nothing you can do.
