Labels not showing up in Jira Advanced Roadmaps

When trying to populate the label, it doesn't show up. The only way to add the label is to go to the issue screen itself and add it there. It doesn't occur for all labels, only a few I have found so far.

Example below: when searching for Q3, only q3-okr-2022 shows up. Q3-2022 doesn't show up even though you can see another issue with that label.

Might be a bit late to the party but I potentially found the root cause:

The label selection only shows labels of issues actually in scope of the roadmap - it does not pull all labels globally.

I was missing a label I am sure exists when trying to set up the folder structure in the view - turns out none of the issues in my Plan filter was labelled with that one, thus I could not select it...only when I manually added a pre-labelled issue to my Plan I was able to select that specific label for sorting / categorising in the view config...

So if you are struggling to set up your labels, make sure your issue sources actually covers it.

Same but only for subtasks

We experience the very same issue. And as we are using the roadmap to map out our plan, these issues are not yet created as "real" issues. therefore we can not add labels to them in the main issue screen.Bildschirmfoto 2022-08-10 um 08.56.36.png
