LDAP and JIRA authentication in same instance

Is it possible to use both LDAP and JIRA authentication in one single instance.

Yes, you just have to create two User Directories.

Hi Mohammed

You can use both, JIRA will distinguish then, there is a documentation you can follow here:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Connecting+to+an+Internal+Directory+with+LDAP+Authentication

Just be aware that JIRA will consider always the first user directory containing a "duplicated" user.

Can I have LDAP authentication for Internal users and JIRA authentication for external users.
