Hi all, i want to compare values of a custom field in parent and child issue.
With this Instructions it works nearly perfect =>
But if i change 2 or more values in this field, the values of the child-Issue will be erased.
The Change works only with 1 value

There is no error log, because it work perfectly if change only one value.
It don't work if change more than 1 value. Then the Automation rule clear all values of the CHILD issues.

Do change the values on the Epic or on the Child?
I think my example is simpler, if you make the changes on the Epic side:

Hi Marc, thanks a lot! It works!!
Now I fill the values at "Issue create" and "Parent Issue edit" and ut works perfektly.
The last thing that i've to do now is, filling the field in Child, if the field in child is empty, but the value in field of parent Issue is not EMPTY.
Can you help me again there?

I only need one way. From Parent to child.
I need to transfer these values ​​once from the parent issue to the child issue.
currently there are many child Issues wich the field value is currently empty and i have to fill this.

Copy the Rule I provided and change the trigger, Use a manual trigger.
Then you are able to run that rule on every issue, via the action button, the action it will do is copy the current options from Epic to the children.
Or create a rule as follows, runs this one and then remove it. This rule will find all Epic based on a JQL in the scheduled trigger and then for each found Epic action on the child issues.
