Kanban board - story is never selected by default

Hello, new to Jira and I am a user and not an admin. 

The board was configured for my team. For some reason I am the only one on my team whose "Story" and "Subtask" are never checked by default, only Task is checked - forcing me to manually check both boxes or hit "Clear Filter" to see Stories and Sub-Tasks - every time. I cleared cache, used different browsers and computers to no avail. Can some suggest which setting in personal or admin console could be responsible for this?  Thank you.

Hi @Laurent.Yen -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

When all the issue types are checked, or unchecked, all of them display.  And when you check types, they are added to the board URL in your browser.

For example:

myJiraURL/jira/software/c/projects/MYPROJECT/boards/123?issueType=10002

I hypothesize you saved a URL to your board, and that it contains the Task issue type.

To correct this, please select Clear Filters and re-save your URL to the board:

myJiraURL/jira/software/c/projects/MYPROJECT/boards/123
